Are you interested in helping to shape the future of Tigard’s next great neighborhood?
Help us build the community plan for River Terrace 2.0. This is a 500-acre area that will be developed with new housing, business areas, parks, and transportation over the next decade.
Why is this project exciting? You will have the opportunity to help us shape this neighborhood into a welcoming community where people can live and enjoy nearby parks and businesses.
Examples of the things we will discuss:
How can we make this neighborhood accessible to first time home-buyers and lower-income households?
What kinds of goods and services should be available within walking or biking distance?
What kinds of parks are needed and how can we ensure equitable access?
Where should transit routes be located? How can this neighborhood promote safe walking and biking?
How should this neighborhood connect to neighboring areas in Beaverton and King City?
The committee will meet eight times for two hours each, beginning in Summer 2024 and ending sometime in late 2025. You can follow those meetings here.
All meetings will be held in both English and Spanish, and we can accommodate other languages as well!
As of 8/1/24, the application period for the CAC has closed. Thank you for your interest.
