Neighborhood Notice: Water Reservoir Onsite Review

Beginning the week of March 1, the City of Tigard will be hosting potential contractor meetings onsite at Cach Water site and Sunrise Park. This work is part of a project to build a new water reservoir on the west side of Bull Mountain.

What you can expect through June 4, 2021:

• Contractors and engineers visiting Sunrise Park and Cach Water site during daylight hours.
• Vehicles parked along Sunrise Lane.

What the contractors and engineers will be doing:

• Walking around Cach Water site and Sunrise Park to better understand existing conditions and to become familiar with each site.
• This information will be useful to teams as they prepare to submit bids to the city for design and construction of the new reservoir.

What’s Next

• The city will hire a design-build team to construct the water reservoir.
• Technical analysis will determine the ultimate location of the reservoir, either at Cach Water site or Sunrise Park.
• Construction is expected to begin in the winter of 2023.
